Meet the herbalist

Sarah Beard MA(Cantab) BSc(Hons) MCPP MNIMH

To become a qualified Medical Herbalist I took a four year medically based degree course with over 500 hours of clinical training.

I am trained in the art of diagnosis and treatment but also in recognising conditions where referral to the GP or other health professional is necessary.

I am a member of both the Institute of Medical Herbalists and The College of Practitioners of Phytotherapy. Both organisations demand evidence of continuing professional development.

Talks and Workshops

I am  happy to give talks to groups of any size and they can be tailored to suit all interests.

Practical workshops can include making your own herbal remedies and putting together a home medicine chest.
